A quick worksheet is a ready-to-print worksheet or game made from a ready-made word list. Pick a category, such as Thanksgiving, click a worksheet, and it opens in a new tab ready to print. There is nothing to set up and no list to build first.
No. Quick worksheets use the same makers as the rest of the site, with the words already chosen and the most common settings selected. If you want more control, open the maker itself from the menu and build the worksheet step by step.
Quick worksheets use default settings so they are ready in one click. To use text instead of images, change the layout, font or size, choose a different board size and so on, use the full maker for that worksheet. Each maker's page explains its options.
Yes. Click Edit this list, then remove words or add more from the full Thanksgiving image set. Your worksheets use the edited list right away, and Reset brings back the original Thanksgiving list.
No. Quick lists are kept separate from your custom list. You can edit quick lists and make as many quick worksheets as you like, and your custom list stays exactly as you left it.
Yes. On any category page, click Save this list as my custom list. If you already have a custom list, you will be asked before it is replaced, so you can download your current list first.
This is on purpose. Many teachers keep a custom list for a unit they are teaching, so quick worksheets never overwrite it. The Thanksgiving list is only copied to your custom list when you choose Save this list as my custom list.
Your edits are saved in this browser, one list per category, so they are still there when you come back. They are not stored on our server, so they will not appear on another computer or if you clear your browser data.
Planning a full unit? The Custom List Maker lets you mix words from any category, save your list, and make 19 different worksheets and games from it all week long.
